the tool-box

so i was going to write about the irony that although i hate this month, i don't want it to be over...BUT the computer did something weird and erased it, therefore signalling to me that - yes indeed - i am not meant to write bitter bitter words...especially not towards something as constructed and non-existent as a "month"...(although i am thankful for pixi-dust's reassurance that it is ok for me to express the negativity that goes along with being human)

anyhow, i do have other exciting news, complete with a nice little background story...so here it goes...

my parents gave all of their children toolboxes for their graduations from high school...the toolboxes came complete with tools, and assorted other goodies (i got a Charles Mingus cd and a "One Less Car" sticker that now adorns my skateboard helmet)...i love my tools, including the saw that has a picture of a shark on the protective cover...unlike many of the other tools, the saw didn't find immediate use...so, of course, whenever i was bored whilst living in my first apartment, i would Find uses for the saw...that is, making saw-sized slits on nearly every wooden object i owned...for instance, my favourite wooden spoon has three parallel saw bites on the handle...

WELL...i was thinking about the fact that i have two christmas trees (that i 'stole' from back alleys) sitting on my front porch, waiting to be made into firewood...and i remembered the SAW!!...SO...soon, i will have a cut-up dead tree, a useful saw, a warm house, and another big ol' grin...WORD

backward and forward
