the week-end

...writing an entry is absolutely the last thing that i should be doing right now, but due to my confidence in having gotten through another end-of-the-semester day, i shall relax about this...

...i just finished a delicious nori wrap with rice and kale and tahini and avacadoe and mustard wrapped up in it...now for desert, i shall put some tahini on a second piece of nori, and top it with apple... - and you thought that tahini monkey was just a name!!! it's a friggin way of life, kids!...

...this past weekend confirmed a few things for me:
- my spidey senses are fully functioning, and when i think something odd has just occurred, it probably has...
- losing a lot of sleep to get stuff done unfortunately still works despite the awful terrible breaking-down death-like horrible physical, physiological, and spiritual side effects that WILL and DO occur...
- school makes people crazy...
- pixi-dust looks scrumptious in new shirts bought from one of our favourite local funky clothing stores...
- the cafeteria wins for brunch, although i loved the adventure of having it elsewhere on sunday...(indeed, with that gang, i could have brunch in a back alley under a leaking drainpipe and still love it)...
- eating hashbrowns with my fingers is my destiny...

- the WORD 'infotainment' is a great new word, which i learned from Christopher Smit, who writes on cyber-theory and the relationship between the freakshows of the early 20th century and the internet fascination of today...'infotainment' refers to the rampid seeking of information that the internet has fostered as a form of entertainment...

may your desire and fascination with information and the Other be hereby fullfilled upon having read this page...
