the fun-game

i uncovered my old handheld nintendo game machine the other day...it really is an amazing thing - it has survived, not only a messy childhood with a clumsy child, but also being the nifty novelty passenger feature in a big badass touring van which, when not carrying musicians, was parked for months on end in a variety of seasons, only a couple of which did not nearly obliterate the already ticketed and near-extinct vehicle...i can distinctly remember holding it gingerly in my hands, in amazement, when i cleared out the van for the auto-wreckers...the gray was faded and textured by finger-markings, the buttons scratched, and the battery-box lightly acid-coated...i didn't actually flick the switch to turn it on until this week, and to my delight, the batteries really work, and the machine is absolutely fine!...hoorah!...the game that has won my heart, and my addictive personality, back is that infamous block-piling nightmare, the one that haunts you after you leave it, the one that has you seeing frustrating variations of block formations all day...you know it - you can play it (although it doesn't have as much charm when not on my beloved rugged game-boing...uh-oh, i'm starting to get wiggy...i think i better get a fix (anyone read asterix?...i miss it)...

ps...i remember that playing doubles was really fun...i don't remember why, so if anyone has a similar machine with the same game, and the cord to connect the two, maybe we could find out...
