seven things i plan to do before i die

- have babies
- skateboard across a large portion of canada
- create a home on my parents’ farm
- become a vampire (of course that’s sort of after, but also before)
- learn how to go to bed early
- eat roast boar from off a spit (asterix comics made it look so good)
- give everyone the love they deserve, and that i feel for them, without my self-centeredness getting in the way

- play an instrument that is bigger than me that is not a piano or a tuba
- sing badly
- cook yummy vegetables
- make people laugh
- dance while standing on my head
- interpret things way too literally (which also means i’m gullible)
- write blog entries that will only be interesting to myself

- a cartwheel (i stole this from friday’s list, but it’s just way too true in my case…i always land on my head when i try)
- sing well
- use capitals without feeling like i’m a capitalist
- say no
- consume lactose
- stop crying once i’ve started
- have a baby that is made of the combined genetics of myself and my lover
- count

seven things that attract me to the opposite sex

[ok, so i must make an editor’s note here…i’m guessing that most of you knew where i was headed as soon as the bracket started…the assumption of heterosexuality is one of the most stifling things that we can do to ourselves, no matter where we sit in the continuum of attractions…for one thing – what exactly is an ‘opposite’ sex?...i have a feeling that our kids and our grandkids will scoff at us for our old-fashioned ways of dichotomizing sex/gender/sexuality…or maybe i just hope they will]

- the way they talk
- lips (guess those two fit together, eh?)

- honesty (and not just the fluffy kind, i want the painful stuff too)
